No, since each Bible is printed individually, it can be customized any way you want. The last name is only used in approximately 50 places, primarily the title page, and book titles, e.g. “The Good News for Linda Jones According to Matthew”. We can even put one name on the cover (e.g. Patricia) and another in the text (e.g. Pat). Special titles (e.g. Pastor, Dr.) are easily included.[/accordion]

Your Personalized Bible currently includes the spouse’s name approximately 150 times in appropriate passages like Ephesians 5:22-33; Colossians 3:18-19; Proverbs 31:10-31, Psalms 128 and several others. Song of Songs (Song of Solomon) is also included in Bibles for married individuals. We have studied making a couple Bible and concluded it does not flow well with the personalizations. [/accordion]

The only “changes” to the text are to put your name in the places where Scripture uses pronouns like: you, us, we, etc. or similar locations and grammatical changes so the name reads correctly.[/accordion]

Anywhere changes occur in the text, including your name, he/she, brother/sister, etc., they are in bold italicized print. Minor grammatical changes are not highlighted.[/accordion]

Scripture tells us in Rev. 22:18: “If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book.” (NKJ). Your Personalized Bible does not add to the scriptures but rather clarifies the meaning of the scriptures much the same way that the Amplified Bible clarifies the meaning of the text.[/accordion]
